Regulatory Obligations

As a registered Money Services Business, Ace Payment Services, Inc. is subject to the following regulatory requirements:

Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

We maintain a written AML compliance program that includes internal controls, independent testing, designated compliance personnel, and ongoing training. The program is designed to detect and prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Know Your Customer (KYC) / Customer Identification

All customers are required to complete identity verification before accessing our services. We collect and verify identifying information in accordance with applicable Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements.

Transaction Reporting

We file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) for qualifying transactions and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) where required by law. All reporting is submitted to FinCEN in accordance with applicable timelines and requirements.

Recordkeeping

We maintain transaction records and customer information in accordance with BSA recordkeeping requirements. Records are retained for the periods required by law and made available to regulatory authorities upon lawful request.

OFAC Screening

We screen customers and transactions against the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list and other applicable sanctions lists prior to onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
